ABOUT PASH

To connect South Africans through culture, blending art, fashion, music and creativity to celebrate individuality, inspire new ideas and bring together the people shaping South Africa's cultural landscape.

Culture Live Here

Otherwise…Welcome to Pash.

This whole thing? It didn't start as a brand.

It started as a feeling. Okay fine yes I was home sick okay, Three years deep in living in the fast lane, as they say and ya, as an expat, the one thing that hits you quickly: you miss home.

Not just the place, but the people, the energy, the spirit. That unexplainable thing South Africans carry.

The "otherwise, you well?", bru culture, the music always playing somewhere in the background that warmth. That's what I couldn't shake.

So I did what any homesick creative would do… I turned it into something.

“I believe the things we wear, listen to, create and surround ourselves with are a reflection of who we are. PASH is a celebration of those things, bringing art, fashion, music and culture together in one space. I hope PASH inspires people to discover something new, express themselves freely and feel connected to the culture around them.”

Born From A Project

PASH the Label actually started out as a concept for a university project. I was studying Fashion Marketing in the UK and got tasked with creating a brand. But I didn't want to make just another brand.

"My USP? You may ask… Proudly SAFFA, duh!"

And weirdly enough, that felt like the most underrepresented thing in the room. Because the truth is… people don't really get South Africa unless they've experienced it. The diversity. The chaos. The beauty. The contradictions. The energy.

We're called the Rainbow Nation for a reason, and yet globally, that story isn't always told the way it should be. So I thought… cool. No worries, my dolly. I'll tell it myself.

And that little university project slowly became something much bigger — a way of celebrating the places, people, culture, fashion and little moments that make South Africa feel like nowhere else in the world.

From a nickname to a whoooole VIBE

"Pash," the brand name reflects a close relationship and the values of uniqueness and self-expression.

Cambridge dictionary defines the word 'Pash' as an intense infatuation. Feelings of loving someone or something, even going as far as a kiss can be called a Pash.

PTL is all about embodying this feeling of raw unapologetic passion, (or in this case PASH-ION) at its core this brand is an invitation to seek what you love, inspire others to be part of a passion community. Find what you love and embrace it as your own, in the most romantic way possible. Who knew a haven of joy and laughter could be located in sunny side South Africa, squarely in the middle of everyday chaos.

The beautiful scenery, luscious cuisine, and kind people perfectly capture the essence of living in a Pash universe. Pash the Label's goal is to capture the indescribable magic and translate it into an editorial outlet.

Two Brains, One Pashion

Meet Tre. He's Annoyingly Good At Everything!!!

The mathematician behind the madness.

Trezar Bhana holds an undergraduate degree in Biomedical Sciences from Witwatersrand University, is a trained chef, and has always had a slightly unfair talent for being good at pretty much whatever he puts his mind to. He's the numbers guy, the problem solver, the finance brain and the person making sure my big ideas occasionally make mathematical sense.

He has been there from the very beginning believing in Pash.

Most importantly, he's my best friend. And doing life and building something you care about is a whole lot better when you have your person beside you.

So, technically, Pash is my passion project. But Tre is very much part of the Pashion.
